my tree-lopper project

I finally got around to taking the rotten wooden handles off my garden loppers.
Now I am looking for some pipe to weld onto the short handles.
At the weekend I toured the local industrial estate looking in skips - but no luck so far, tho I did find some other interesting stuff!
