lunchtime at the shed

Men's Shed North Shore is now open and members are coming in on Mondays/Wednesdays/Saturdays from 10-3 to work on projects and get together and have a yarn.
Subjects over lunch last Monday ranged from V8 racing, modified Anglias, auctions, MIG welders, internet scams, selling real estate, speeding tickets, Bunnings Vs Mitre 10 service-wise, buying building materials at trade prices, making swans from car tyres, and racing at Western Springs.
I mentioned that I have some black and white 8mm film footage of racing at Western Springs in the 1950's, and offered to bring a projector and the film to the Shed this week for a movie show.
